The Beach Company was founded in 1945 by J.C. Long when he purchased the Isle of Palms and began developing its raw land. He couldn't have known that his operation would eventually become a dynamic force in Southeastern real estate. But from the beginning, J.C. demanded a higher standard of performance in every aspect of his organization. Over the years, that dedication to quality would perpetuate and transform brilliant visions into landmark realizations: from the Isle of Palms to Kiawah Island, from Seaside Farms to The Bristol, from Majestic Square to Charleston Regional Business Center.
The Beach Company's four integrated divisions – Development, Property Management, and Residential and Commercial Brokerage – exemplify the power of performance by striving to always improve the company’s return on investment. While we are conservative and meticulous, our depth of experience enables us to look ahead and frame development strategies that stand the market and the test of time.
